ABOUT THE NEW ZEALAND DELEGATES

Jon Albright is a rugby-loving scholar and beer head. He currently lives in Canada, but once represented New Zealand's national team in ice hockey...
...while his colleague, Fez Broadbent, never moves more than eight feet away from the nearest beer. Which makes life very difficult at times.
Starting our New
Zealand beer guide is a very proud moment for the United
Nations of Beer.
It's never easy to find solid people to represent us in the
more
obscure corners of the planet.
So it was a pleasant surprise to find a New Zealand beer
man right
under our very noses!
Jon Albright is based in Montreal and, as well as loving many sports (notably hockey and rugby), he knows the New Zealand beer scene and is not afraid to prove it.
Our Jon's a bit of a clever chap too, having a PhD in history, a masters
in the effect of carbonated alcoholic beverages on the human body and a
claim to fame: he turned
down a job at the OTHER United Nations.
Even better, Jon is so well-connected that he found us another Beer Delegate, the handsome Fez Broadbent.
His picture proves two things: 1) that he's fond of beer and 2) that drinking NZ beer doesn't make flowers grow out of your head. Sorry Jon, but you've been caught in a bit of a lie there!

I am keen for the responsibility, or rather challenge, to drink lots of beer and remember what it tasted like the day after.
I'm looking forward to sharing the best that New Zealand has to offer beer lovers around the world.
Your application proposal, Fez:
I like beer a lot.
When all other alcohol fails me, beer does not. It comes in many different forms as well as tastes and I intend to try them all.
I have also made it my mission to attend as many brewery tours as possible in my country and abroad.
Did I mention I like beer?
It's a privilege to have you both at the United Nations of
Beer!
