This American Pale Ale was originally made for the Town Pump, the oldest bar in Ft. Collins. (I was pleased to learn the Town Pump has Atomic Cherries: marascino cherries soaked in Everclear, 3 for $1, which sounds like an awesome way to throw up really cheaply. But I digress.)
The Town Pump Ale is dry hopped with fresh whole flower hops, which is unusual. It's light but almost buttery and creamy with a smooth finish.
If Miller High Life is the Champagne of beers, it's the Chardonnay of beers. I looked over to ask one friend how he liked it and he had already scarfed down the sample and was licking the inside of the glass, so that's a good sign.

Very nice starter beer. Fruity, hoppy aroma with a moderately sweet flavor and very low hop bitterness.
