The Alchemy ESB was a wonder to behold. Not only does the label have a super bad-ass wizard on it, but it actually performed a trick at the table!

The menu described it best, and I quote, "Watch it transmute before your eyes, then quaff its creamy head." Oh, it was a creamy head all right. So creamy it could have been brewed with half and half.

What was really interesting though was despite the dairy product-esque front load, it actually had a pretty crisp finish. It’s merely a theory, but I think if you mixed this up with a night of tequila, mechanical bull riding and some flamenco dancing, you might just create gold.
