I was less inspired by the Dark Star Ale. It was robust and malty, but had a strange aftertaste. The menu mentioned its traditional ESB finish, but it tasted more like soapy lemons instead of bitters.
It was also served at room temperature, but I felt like this detracted from the flavor instead of improving it.
