If you're new to the world of beer you are no doubt discovering its ability to fill you up quickly. The high carbonation and carbohydrates involved (esp in cheap beers) often leave little room to the uninitiated stomach for anything else. I suggest taking smaller sips more frequently to avoid swallowing air (as is often the case when "slugging") and buy BETTER BEER! Typically, the higher the quality, the easier it is on the stomach. Try a porter or stout as they often have less carbonation and can coat the stomach rather than irritate it. Just my .02. Also, I am going to assume that our fearless leader Secretary General posted the accompanying picture?? That's just not right man.
