Puking after one beer?

I am new to drinking beer, and I was wondering... Why is it that by the time I finish my first cup of beer, I feel sick and puke? It's like the carbonation just builds up and I feel like I have to burp, but I can't, and instead I puke.
Granted this is usually cheap beer, but no else seems to have this problem. Hard liquor on the other hand is much easier for me to get down.
