My next pint, their Sun God Wheat Ale, wowed me with its flavour and restorative powers. Unfortunately, by this time I had forgotten about my camera due to my need to feed. But believe me when I say it was an unremarkable golden-coloured beer.
But when that first bit hits your mouth, your senses explode with a great wheat-malt flavour and all the crispness one can desire from a lighter hued beer. There were some nice fruity tones to it, but nothing to be compared to a hefeweizen-type beer.
All in all this beer won my stamp of approval hands down compared to Raven Cream ale, and if you ever find yourself in the same position I was in, do your mouth a favour and just get two of their Wheat Ales.
