Rickard's Honey Brown
Having recently reviewed Rickard's Red, I was expecting good things from this beer. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the Honey Brown.
I find this beer to be lacking the essential balance that made the Red so alluring. It's somewhat flat-tasting, a bit one-dimensional, the honey not adding much to the experience and the bitterness being insipid rather than inspired.
You can keep this particular beer. I'm a redhead man from now on when it comes to Rickard's.
The jury is still out on Rickard's White (sold in the US as Blue Moon beer, but I'll be reviewing that shortly.
