I believe that this is the first beer brewed at River Horse Brewery and is their Flagship product. This brew was my favorite of the samples (I went back for seconds and bought a six pack on the way out).
The bitterness was quite low for an ESB. I could taste a light hop bitterness with sweet malt pervading more. The server commented that this sweetness could be mistaken for honey and I agreed. The taste actually comes from the malt used (Carapils).
