River Horse Hop Hazard: dry hopped for extra kick
River Horse Brewery, Lambertville, NJ, USA
Hop Hazard Pale Ale: For any of you familiar with Weyerbacher, a brewing company a short distance away in Easton, PA, the beer reminded me of the excellent Hops Infusion made there.
The label on the River Horse Brewery Hop Hazard Pale Ale states "Dry Hopped Pale Ale." Dry-Hopping, which is adding hops after the boil during the later phases of brewing, adds a very distinct hop kick to the beer.
This particular brew has five different kinds of hops, lending a powerful hop kick to both the aroma and taste.
