Well, I fell upon this in may 2008. Me and my wife were having a party @ our house and one of our guests brought an 18 pack of bottled Sol Beer.

At first glance I said "ugh", another Corona wannabe. So I gave in, my buddy put a lemon slice in it and at first sip I was hooked, seriously!

So since my first try I buy nothing but Sol beer (bottled in Monterrey, Mexico) and when I have like a Miller or a Coors beer that I used to prefer they now seem like a nasty old girlfriend, lol!

So I stick to my guns and pay the extra amount for this glorious beer! It's unlike other beers and is not like Corona in any way. It is light in color w/ a secret ingredient that makes it taste so wonderful. It goes down easy, it's almost like juice in that sense, most refreshing!

This beer is probably the best on a hot summer day but I will take anytime, Thank you Sol Cervaza!

Sol Is The Best - Bar None!!!!

Started visiting Mexico in 1999. Been back 28 times since. Sol is the smoothest, best tasting beer i've ever tasted.

Sol..Just so right!

Like so many others, was in Mexico, at the Royal Solaris and they only served Sol. I was instantly hooked. I only wish I could find it where i live. Its got a great taste all of its own and the most refreshing beer I've ever had.

Good stuff!

Sol is a great, mild tasting beer. Doesn't fill you up so you can enjoy several on a hot day.
Surely as good as Corona.

Go Sol................

Just came back from a cruise to Mexico. We were in Cozumel on Paradise Beach and bought a bucket of beer. I asked for Corona and the bartender said" No Corona, only tourist drink that stuff".

He said try Sol, I guarantee you'll like it. He was wrong, I loved it. Talk about "drink ability".

Now I just have to find a place to buy it in the KC metro area.

Sol is one of my favorite beers to drink during the summer, its easy to down and its very refreshing. Tell those Coronas snobs to stop drinking piss and try a Sol.

This is just a run of the mill lager with not much taste, that's why they mega chill it and stick a bit of lime in the top!!!

Defo one for drinking on a beach in the Med though.

Sol's old news, no?

I remember this beer becoming popular in the UK in the early 90s. People loved the concept of sticking a bit of lime in the neck.

Indeed it does refresh, but then you could say that of anything cold and available when you've scorched your taste buds on a spicy Tex-Mex offering.

While vacationing in the Yucatan I ran across Sol at a restaurant in Tulum. Given the salsa tomatillo was exceptionally hot, i guzzled down 4 of these things and was instantly hooked. Superb drinkability, light flavor, little aftertaste. Kinda like a mexican High Life. Great on a hot day.

Viva La Sol Beer

Viva La Sol Beer~My husband and I were in Cozumel, Mexico and got the opportunity to try Sol beer. We love it. My husband was a Budweiser man and now he has replaced it with Sol beer. We are lucky to be able to purchase it in our home town in Georgia. I reccommend that everyone tries it. It is very smooth and tastes great. We are looking forward to another trip to Mexico this Spring or Summer and enjoying Sol on the Mexican beaches as well as at home.
