One of my all-time favorite places ever. Spinnaker's in Victoria is one of those 'must visit at all cost' places. The food is amazing, as is the setting on Victoria's Inner Harbour.
Though it has been several years since my last visit, during which time they have started getting a little more experimental in their brewing, I'm sure that not only are they well done they haven't forgotten what got them there and have continued the British traditional ales.
The restaurant has a small deli with fresh baked goods, cheese and other gifts. They also operate a small bottle shop just up the street. The guest rooms are also very nice and is great to be just a crawl away.
Spinnaker's also has been around long enough for a second generation to start in the business. Paul's daughter Carly recently opened Lion's Head Smoke 'n' Brewpub in Robson, B.C.
