IPA is probably in my top three beer styles, so I was looking forward to this double IPA. It pours a fairly dark amber-red with a fluffy head that sticks around.

Aroma is the fresh, piney and citrus you'd expect. What surprised me about the taste was, while it still has the bitterness in the aftertaste all IPAs worth the name have in common (in spades!), with loads of fresh pine and citrus peel, there's much less dryness than I expected.

This is a fine-tasting beer and the alcohol presence certainly makes itself felt.
