Pours very dark brown, little head and it doesn't linger. Quite a thin beer for a stout. Not a lot going on in the nose, a bit sweet-smelling, some coffee maybe...
Very bitter bite which intensifies as soon as you swallow, very fizzy in the mouth. Long slow sweetening process accompanied by coffee notes and a hint of treacle. The aftertaste is very pleasant and long-lasting. A decent stout.
