Squatters Fifth Element: available in limited bottles only
![]() |
Squatters Fifth Element (available in limited bottles only) pours a cloudy apricot/straw color with a fizzy white head that reduced to a thin froth. The nose has a bit of barnyard funkiness to it, with hints of lemon.
The tastes start with tart green apples and lemon. Next comes a dry oakiness that compliments the tartness well. The finish is a combination champagne like dryness and bitter florals. Light and dry with some residual sweetness but highly drinkable.
Brewed in 2007 then aged in oak starting in January 2008 and bottled in August 2008.
