Squatters Kindig Weizen is brewed as a traditional German Krystall Weizen popular in Austria and Germany, apparently named for its brilliantly clear appearance. Kindig Weizen is made with 55% malted wheat and 45% Pilsner malt and an authentic Weizen yeast strain.
The unique characters of the yeast produce phenolic and ester notes which give this light straw-colored filtered wheat beer subtle clove and banana flavors.
