St Bernardus Abt 12 Special Edition was my 1st beer of the New Year '07 and it ended up being my favorite beer.

It is very similar to the regular St.B Abt 12, but it has some other tastes in there that I can't describe.

I'd join the abbey monks to drink this more often, except that I'd miss women. Watou must mean "Wow" in Belgian!

Best beers in the world

Yes, St Bernardus Abt 12, is one of the best Belgian beers, But you also should try the
West-Vletteren Trapist and Westmalle Tripel the best beers in the world. And BTW Watou doesn't mean WOW, it's the name of the village where the beer is brewed. The Belgian Abbey beers are as excellent as the best Champagne.

st Bernardus Abt 12° is indeed a very good beer.
But an other excellent Belgian beer West Vleteren is nominated the best beer in the world.
An other very good is the Westmalle Tripel my favorite. Some people do not understand that we have more than 200 different beers in Belgium
