I just came home from 31 days in new zealand and australia.

Steinlager is the pure best beer I have ever had. where can I buy this in my area?

Whole Foods Mkt. sometimes carries this product in the Ft. Lauderdale area. It's the best.

Moved here from Hawaii where Steinlager was everywhere (Sack n' Save, KTA, Chevron, etc.) and so I've been searching high and low as well and finally found it at Anderson's General Store in Columbus, Ohio. Not the same price as Hawaii, since its considered a specialty beer. But thats ok, at least I know where I can get it now :)

There is a small, mom & pop, market that will order it for us in Plymouth. It's called Old Villiage Market. 734-453-5040. I order it for my husband since we came back from our honeymoon in HI and he had it there. I'd love to find someone that would just stock it without us having to order it.

It's from the Netherlands or Holland, however you want to call it. Brewed in Enschede. Btw, steinies are way better.

I miss Steinlager!

My wife and I used to be able to buy Steinlager at any number of stores. Unfortunately, the beautiful golden drink has disappeared from the stores' shelves.

I have been searching but have not discovered why this is. A thought occurs suddenly, I'm going to have to ask someone in the store....

A similar lager is Grolsch. This is another very tasty lager but from Germany. Like Steinlager, we have not been able to find it anywhere.

The only fall-back beer I have right now it St. Paulie Girl. It's good, but it ranks below the aforementioned lovlies for my taste.

No steinys around Santa Rosa, Ca

I used to be able to buy Steinlager at several places in the Santa Rosa/Guerneville area, but now I can't find Steinlager anywhere in the area. What's up with that? Does any one know where it is being distributed around here?
