Stone Brewery is an eccentric brewery from San Diego, CA that has identified less-than-desirable gravitational forces in the Beer World and has a mission to "avoid dumbed-down flavor profiles and the vigorous pursuit of the lowest common denominator" so in the defiance of gravity, it offers Levitation Ale.
Well, to begin with it has a huge nose! I had reminiscences of freshly baked bread, figs and molasses. This ale has a fruity taste, but not too sweet, the bottle I tried had quite heavy carbonation.
I like its elegant silky body. The immediate hop hit reminded me of Fuggles off the top, but I read that Columbus and Amarillo are the major flowers used.
This excellent ale has a gentle finish.
