Summit
IPA beer review
Submitted by Bryan Koolmeister
I
went out to one of my regular haunts, Old Chicago.
It just so happened one of my favorite bartenders was working and I decided to try a good old Minnesota brewed beer that I have never had before. I had a Summit India Pale Ale!
The bartender placed the beer in front of me and said, "Enjoy." I replied with "You betcha I will!"

I took my first sip of this Minnesota-brewed beer and had a big smile on my face afterward, knowing it was brewed in our state!
It was not one I would place in my top choices of beers, but it also is not one I would never have again.
I tend to lean more towards the lighter beers and not the darker beers and Summit IPA beer falls somewhere right in the middle: maybe that's why it is not my top choice nor my least favorite.
Old Chicago is a great place with a wide variety of beers to choose from and always has great people to talk to and open your ears to.
The Koolmeister looks forward to bringing Minnesotans many more reviews on my adventures out. (Which is almost every night!)
