The George and Vulture in London is situated in Hoxton, an ever-changing area.
It is surrounded by wine bars and night clubs, yet this pub is unique in its own right.
It caters for everyone and sells great, well-kept Fullers ales, such as Fuller's ESB, London Pride and Discovery.
The George and Vulture recently won Fuller's Proud of your Pride award, voted for by its customers. It has a great selection of wines and lagers. The decor is simple but does have a nice open fire and a few sofas and a nice mini grand piano, which is in need of some players.
Thursday night alternates between acoustics with some really great talent and Jam night with a open mic. Friday night there's a disco and Tuesday there's the pub quiz.
The staff and management are extremely friendly and on first-name terms with most of the customers, and the service they provide is second to none. All this comes with the price of a drink, there is no admission charge and the prices do not increase because of the entertainment. A pub well worth visiting.
