Lay down your arms, gentlemen, and raise a glass, to Les Trois Mousquetaires! Never have flavours of coffee and chocolate been so brilliantly blended in a Black lager.

Aptly described on the label, and indeed as Black as they come, this lager is wrenching heartbreak for the tongue. Continues below
This Quebec microbrew bites first with acrid nip on the back of the palate, dry as wit, dark as night, bitter as coffee served black and strong the morning after a long hard night on the bottle.

The chocolate hits next, more flat but more even in it's bitterness filling the nooks of the mouth with frozen warmth and smokeless smoke the perfect beer for the coming months of harsh snow, bitter cold, and warm fireplaces.

This 5% ABV lager is not a patio beer, or something to be thrown back to refresh a hard thirst; instead, this beer is golden in its darkness and should find a spot in your icebox, and will bring you many nights of bittersweet darkness.
