Tuckerman 6288 stout: no bitterness in the aftertaste
Tuckerman 6288 Stout
Tuckerman Brewing, NH, USA
It has a deep dark black-brown color with no translucence.
I must admit that when a first saw the sample I braced for that bitter aftertaste that accompanies many a stout. I swirled the ale and smelled its aroma. It was strong but pleasant to my nasal senses, which gave me the courage to taste the ale.
As I spun the ale around my tongue I was pleased by its strong robust taste of hops, herbs and very light fruity favor.
It left no bitter aftertaste, as I had feared. I believe that this may become one of my favorite Stouts.
