Bottle-conditioned German-style brown ale. During the Tuckerman Ale tour, I learned that all Tuckerman beers are also naturally carbonated in the bottle or keg, using a process called "Krausening", which adds an extra step of fermentation within the bottle or the keg.
The flavor is the same as the Tuckerman Pale Ale, but the taste is stronger without producing a bitter aftertaste. This is a big plus in my book.
The ale is a dark brown rich amber color and slides effervescently over the tongue.
