Memoriale has a very subtle aroma, ample in body and deep color. This beer is a fine tribute to the grandfather of the Two Brothers Ebel.
The flavor is intense, with a strong hop presence going down where it dissipates nicely. In short I would say it has roasted malt flavor with a hoppy overbite, nice finish and not gassy. It actually went down like a younger batch of Two Brothers Bare Tree.
I would love to down ice cold glasses of this while barbequing ribs.
