Unibroue Rousse: red and sharp

Amber, dark-tasting and bitter, this was my least favourite of the three 'average' Unibroue beers -- the others being Unibroue Blonde Pilsner and Unibroue Honey Pilsner -- but that probably says more about me than the brew.
This level of bitterness is not quite what I expected from an amber billing itself as average, despite the gargoyle on the label, so I justify my comment. However, if you like your beer red and sharp, this will suit you perfectly.
