The Logan City Council just voted to approve a petition by a business group to allow the manufacture of beer. Until today this was prohibited.

The brewery is allowed to manufacture and sell beer as long as at least 50 per cent of total sales are from food. They must also locate in an industrial area.

Apparently the pub owners were waiting for this legislation, so watch here for a new brewpub in Logan City or Cache County within a few months.
