The once proud Duff beer brand has fallen upon hard times of late.
Their attempt to counter the rise of microbreweries by introducing Duff Ale was met with ridicule when it was discovered that the new beer was simply regular Duff mixed with a few drops of steak sauce.
Duff Lime would have fared better had the brewers been allowed to use real limes, instead of an artificial flavoring obtained from toad slime that turned out to be a powerful hallucinogen.
It's hard to believe that the pending takeover of Duff by the vast BeeWinGinAleInt conglomerate will not push them even further down the road of corporate debasement.
Oh well, at least we have this Will Work For Duff: The Simpsons T-shirt from the good folks at Tees For All to remind us of the glory days when Duff was so well regarded that people were willing to work for nothing more than the promise of a cool, frosty mug of Duff at the end of a shift.
The buffoonish character pictured with the glass of Duff is not known to me, but I understand him to be one the stars of a vulgar television show.
