Yona Yona ale (5.5% ABV)

This multiple award-winning beer (internationally) is one of the finest Japanese ales, despite coming from a can.

Pours a nice deep golden brown-amber. Not much head. Lovely, slightly sweet scent.

Very rounded and balanced, with plenty of hops, a bit of fruit that reminded me of lychee, smooth and very drinkable.

actually yona yona on draft has quite a bit of head. you should definitely try it if you ever visit Japan.
